Our engagement with Position1SEO a couple of years ago has left us in a position where we feel compelled to share our experience, hoping to prevent others from facing similar setbacks. As a business seeking to enhance our online presence through SEO, our expectations were straightforward: ethical practices, tangible results, and a partnership that would foster growth. Regrettably, our experience was far from these expectations, leading us to strongly advise against utilising Position1SEO for search engine optimisation needs. Unethical Practices and Black Hat SEO Techniques: Our journey with Position1SEO unveiled a reliance on black hat SEO techniques, which not only failed to deliver sustainable results but also inflicted long-term damage on our digital footprint. The company's strategy centered around the creation and dissemination of low-quality, repetitive content across single-page websites, establishing a network of backlinks that were later identified as toxic by leading industry software and SEO experts. This approach not only contradicted Google's guidelines but also jeopardized our website's credibility and search engine rankings. Counterproductive Content Strategies: Further exacerbating the situation was the introduction of content on our website that directly competed with existing material, effectively cannibalising our efforts rather than complementing them. This issue emerged over a year into our collaboration and only came to light after we voiced our concerns, revealing a fundamental lack of foresight and strategy in their approach to content creation and SEO. Empty Promises and Minimal Effort: In response to our dissatisfaction, Position1SEO ceased billing us, promising to work for free until they fulfilled their initial promises. However, this gesture proved to be more symbolic than substantive, as the continued efforts were minimal and, by their own standards, still toxic. This arrangement left us in a standstill, where no financial burden was incurred, yet no progress was made, effectively stalling any potential growth or recovery for our business. Conclusion: Our experience with Position1SEO serves as a stark reminder that shortcuts and unethical practices in SEO can have dire consequences. Their strategy to "fool Google" is not only flawed but also detrimental in the long run, as search engines have become increasingly adept at identifying and penalising such tactics. We learned the hard way that integrity, quality, and adherence to best practices in SEO are non-negotiables for sustainable success. To those considering Position1SEO for their SEO needs, we advise you to proceed with caution, or better yet, seek alternatives that prioritise ethical practices. The allure of quick results should not overshadow the importance of building a credible and enduring online presence.

Position1seo are by far the best SEO Company I have ever come across. There advice guidance and knowledge of the industry is great. They have worked on Keyword analysis, landing pages, schema markups, onsite and offsite optimisation link building & content creation advice. The team too the time to create a plan specific to my industry and have lived up to there promises with a well actioned plan. Within 6 weeks my rankings have gone up, bounce rate gone down, time on site gone up and the best of all conversions to sales leads and meetings and CTA buttons have gone up. And we have only just started a long process of increases in my local then national rankings. Thanks to Jason and the SEO specialists in Glasgow. I am so glad I have someone I can rely on and not have to worry about things. The google analytics & dwell time monthly reports are very good as well. Position 1 SEO have been very professional from the outset. I purchased the 12 phase package and we’re currently on phase 8. I’ve seen great progress so far and rankings have improved. Looking forward to seeing more results and working further with Position 1 SEO. Having worked with other SEO companies in the past, Position 1 SEO have a much more structured approach and always meet phased timescales providing comprehensive evidence and reports of work done and results achieved at each stage. They are always quick to respond to calls/emails, very knowledgeable and do proper product research when undertaking a project. I was very impressed with technical knowledge on page content and articles they produced on a niche product. Highly recommended.
